GLENMAC CAIRNS - New Zealand

We enjoyed Harley's company at Glenmac and showing him in co-ownership with his breeder.

He won many Group & In Show awards, both in his time with us and since going home to Kelbryn, from where he finished his title, including:

Best of Group (Group 1) & Best Puppy in Show at his 3rd All Breeds show - at just 6 months / 5 days.
Reserve Best Exhibit in Show - Central Districts Working Dog Assn - March 2007
Best Junior Dog - CWCL Specialty 2006

Glen won 5 CC's, several Best of Breed awards, Junior of Groups, a Reserve Best of Group & a Best Junior in Show before we reluctantly made the decision to retire from showing and breeding when we moved to our smaller property and let our show dogs leave for new homes, a decision we were soon to regret.

We enjoyed showing Bronte to his title, collecting several 'in Group' wins. He also won an A/B Best Junior in Show.
Never used at stud, Bronte was later owned by Chris Sigvertsen ("Glenopal"), for whom he continued to be noticed at the Specialty shows entered.
Now retired to a pet home.

Mac was our 'once-in-a-lifetime' dog. We were so lucky to produce him in our first Pembroke litter.

He will always be remembered as one of NZ's top-winning corgis of his time.

Specialty Reserve Best in Show
Along with
numerous other Group & in Show wins.

Holder of the
GOLD CERTIFICATE OF MERIT
for his 85 Challenge Certificates

Although not used often at stud, Mac lives on through his top-winning grandsons:

NZ/Aust Ch Khartoum Kiwi Magic
and
NZ/Aust Ch Khartoum Back on Track

These half-brothers are from Mac's daughter, Khartoum Cover Girl.

We do miss Mac around our home and think of him often, especially when passing his lovely Brisbane painting in our hallway.
